Bio - Updated 30.09.2008 - Lucidity was formed in late 2004 by four men who knew each other from different connections. The main idea was to have fun just play some "leftovers" from our earlier bands. But later on the songs started to form the shape of the bands music, melodic (death) metal. At some point the song composing started to be more focused and more determined. After six months of intense practise first studio material was recorded in Karstula, Riuttarecords studios. It was only a "practise" session. Everything happened too fast. But it was enlightening experience. After the studio session, the band was forced to have a brake. The rehearsal place in Lutakko was under reconstruction. So we didn't have a place to rehearse. From June to December we had maximum 10 rehearse sessions. But during that period, even we had no rehearsal place, we made songs. During the brake, our music changed a bit. The shape of our music is more death metal, but at the same time more atmospheric and melodic. So with a bit changed style, again, we marched to the Riuttarecords studio. The idea was to bound the material to a story, so this time we decided to take our time, and carefully finish this one. The session turned out to be nightmare. This time nightmare was equipments fault. But in the end we had good material in our hands, that had good reviews in Finnish media. After the "Endure"- promo, we had little quiet times, due bands busy personal life. During that period new songs were composed. So the material for the new promo was ready. We had 5 songs ready, we decided that we will record 3 of them to end the story that the "Endure" started, and those 3 songs were the best songs to end the story.
